Hot Cross Buns

My co-teacher was gone all last week. Which meant I taught 6 3rd grade classes all by my lonesome. It went as well as could be expected I suppose. Nothing too out of control happened thankfully. In more recent news, I bought a recorder this weekend! I've been tooting away all weekend trying to get back into my music groove. I think it's a lost art, recorder-ing. At least in the U.S. They play actual classical songs, not just Hot Cross Buns (a tune I've personally perfected within the last few days.) It's pretty impressive. I'm so excited for the end of the semester. I don't even know what I'm going to do with all the time! A solid month and a half of no work. Superb.

  1. Wow- a whole month and a half off! Amazing! Are you going to travel around? Have you been to Jeju-do yet? I'd recommend it. Especially get to the little island off the side, Udo. It's so quaint and has some interesting beaches and caves to explore :) Oh yes, and the best way to get around the island would probably be to rent motorbikes.

  2. Hot Cross Buns is the best song you can play on a recorder. I don't see myself moving back to Minnesota anytime soon. I'd love to go visit Korea but I'm broke ass broke. I suppose I could try rigging a job like you but I don't know.

Keep up the good blogging work.
