That last post says I wrote it Nov 26, but I finished it but a few minutes ago! Silly internet. Thus, another update for your viewing pleasure.
I made a library card last weekend. I was under the impression that in order to use the computers and print something, a person had to be a card holding member of the establishment. But apparently all I needed to do was make an id/password. This, of course, was learned after I went through the process of filling out the application, confusing those in charge with my two completely different names on my registration card, and taking one of the worst pictures of my life. I wasn't prepared for a photoshoot so my hair was a mess and I looked, to say the least, quite kerfuffled. BUT! Despite all that, I now can browse through the small English section (separated in an entirely different room!) and read all the books I please. MUAHAHAHA! My inaugural loan was The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love. I've been wanting to check this one off my list of Pulitzers for quite some time. So far the only Pulitzer winning book I haven't enjoyed is The Hours. All the rest have been great and worthy of said prize.
Jordan, Jesse Go is my new favorite podcast. Sometimes it makes me laugh out loud on the subway or bus which probably makes me look a little strange or maybe just eccentric. That's a polite way of saying weird, right? I also have been really enjoying WTF With Marc Maron. I learned some really surprising things about Paul Scheer, one of my fav comedians/actors.
I love their wigs.
