I decided to watch the American Music Awards after hearing about some sort of New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys mash-up (which I must say, was more delightful than I ever could have imagined.) First of all, I realize that there are some hard times going on over there, but GEEZ! 90% of the whole thing was an amalgamation of sad sap funeral tunes. What is going on?!??! And since when did Train make a comeback? I don't understand, are these really the musicians that are popular now? Kpop is hardly the pearl of our musical history, but at least it doesn't make me want to kill myself. Meanwhile, I started listening to Florence and the Machine...heaven.
Vacation in one month could not come sooner.
