I have been trying for two days now to order something online and I finally succeeded! I feel so triumphant. And now I must wait. Always waiting. On the other hand I started watching Archer and it is fantastic! I love that H. Jon Benjamin. His voice is like wrapping myself in a velvet fog.
My apartment is less than fantastic, but we're working with it. I'm waiting for the washing machine, a microwave, and the INTERNET! It's been slightly painful having to live without it, but luckily there is a sweet pc place just down the street. J and I have been spending most of our evenings there. I'm missing the kimbop shops, but the hot water situation is worlds better! Plus J bought me these little mop slippers with which I can dance around and clean the floors. It's pretty entertaining. We will see how the year goes. Next time I am definitely going to take control of finding my own housing so we don't get stuck with an insanely small place. We also decided to forego the television. Hopefully it will force me to study Korean more and I'll be well on my way to mastering the world.
I'm not even sure when I start teaching yet. Woohoo!
