I am craving cheeseballs. I already ate my way through the giant bin Jacob bought me a few weeks ago. They were heaven. But I refuse to buy more because there is no need to keep eating so much powdered cheese.
We saw a really sad dog in a cage on the back of an old sort of tractor like vehicle. J said it was surely meant for food because it was all raggedy looking.
Every summer there is a mud festival. I hear it is lots of fun, but the thought of being covered in mud that has been mixed with a million other people's parts and feet makes my skin crawl. I just looked at pictures of people with mud all over them and my skin already itches. Last year some sort of rash broke out among the people that went so that sort of discourages me from going, although I haven't heard of any such outbreak this year.

Two Things
Two weird things happened to me today.
1.) An India Indian man stopped me, asked me if I spoke English and then asked me for directions. First he didn't know where the place was he was going, but after a call he figured it out. Anyway, the weird part was that he asked where I was from, and when I said America, he said, "What? Why don't you look American?" The conversation pretty much spiraled after that and I quickly said my goodbyes.
2.) I was eating kimbap (this)

on the subway and a meandering little girl came up to me and started asking me questions like, "Ooo what's that what's that?" I was taken quite aback because she was all alone and acted as though she knew me, which she didn't. I told her I didn't speak Korean, but she kept talking at me as I walked away. She didn't look homeless or anything and there are always children roaming in that area so I wasn't too concerned
I'm not used to so much interaction with strangers. Usually I tell people I can't speak Korean because if I say I can speak a little, but not well, they talk to me like I should be fluent.
I saw a teeny tiny dog chasing its owner on a bike today and I want Louie to learn to do that. At the park I let him off the leash for a little while if there aren't many people in the big open area and he always comes back to me so I think there's hope.

Back In Business
To my supreme delight J fixed the aircon. I am once again cool as a cucumber. The vet informed us that Louie will only get a few inches bigger so I'll still be able to pick him up and hold him like a baby whenever I want!
Too tired to type...

Booby
One of my students had this phone today...but the commercial is strange
SO HOT! The air conditioner is out of commission due to Jacob's cold. I think we need to clean it or something; although, he did clean the filter, but now he thinks there's mold up in the inner workings of the thing. He got a couple little fans, which Louie is terrified of, and it's still blazing hot. I think it's cooler outside right now, than in here, if that's even possible. Meanwhile, I've been eating a lot of popsicles and laying (lying?) motionless.

Mz. Thang
Writing is supposed to be like fucking, people. It’s not supposed to be describing how somewhere, two people might be holding hands.
-Zack Handlen, describing the Michael Cunningham novel The Hours which I also tried to read last year and ended up skimming and flipping through to the end. Pulitzer Prize my aunt fanny.
Two army guys got in a fight tonight. They got kicked out of the bar, but continued fighting in the street. All I saw was one douche yelling, "Yeah! Let's take it outside! LET'S TAKE IT OUTSIDE!!" and then he took his shirt off. There was a huge crowd so luckily I didn't see anything. It makes me anxious even thinking about people fighting and bleeding from the head.
Previous to the brawling, i went with some friends to a wedding fashion show. It was pretty interesting. The first half was white Western style and the second half was hanboks. The hanboks were really nice. It really made me want one. The white dresses were all pretty much boresville. A new friend I met a couple weeks ago is getting married sometime...maybe in a year or so, but I hope I'm invited to the wedding *fingers crossed*
I also had my very first experience at the board game cafe. One can sit and play various board games, sip refreshing drinks, and eat snacks for about...$2 an hour. It was surprisingly fun and we all got to sit around and chat.
Here are some pics from the fashion show ^^

Cheer Up!
I don't know about the song, but looking at TOP brings me joy.
I met some new people. A girl from Thailand and some guys from MN, but Jacob scared one of them into not being friends with me :( I feel slightly irked about the whole matter...but whatevvs.
I really really really want to see Cyrus.
