I'm having mixed feelings about Christmas. Last night we went out to dinner and went trolling for eggnog. Eggnot more like it. I've never enjoyed the stuff and last night was no different. Failure #1. We decided to try out a dance club, but the place was so packed you couldn't even move, let alone dance. Failure #2. We finally just went to a bar, mostly because Mr. J had to use the restroom, and had a beer. I call this Failure #3 merely because I don't like beer. So, dinner was good, but the rest of the night made me cranky and woozy. I woke up with a sore hoarse throat and have slept for most of the day. I miss my family and somehow I still feel cranky. Maybe I should go back to bed. I need to clean the house...but I don't want to. blah

I need to stop eating sandwiches from the cornerstore. My digestive system does not seem to be pleased with my latest selection.
Went on a movie craze today. We saw a late late showing of Avatar 3D and a morning showing of Sherlock Holmes and The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. It was fun, but I haven't gotten much sleep.
I lost my check card which meant I had to go to the bank and get a new one. Luckily it wasn't too complicated. I'm always worried when I have to do stuff because my Korean sucks and it make me nervous to have to talk to people. They all look at me like I'm retarded because I can't speak Korean. It makes me want to punch each and every one of them in the face.
Why has facebooked sucked so hard lately? I heard through the grapevine that it's because of all those stupid applications like farmville and stuff. Especially that gosh darn chatting device.
Christmas really snook up on me this year. It makes me want one of those cutie cute ice cream cakes from Baskin Robbins. I think we'll go out for dinner tonight...like a nice steak dinner. Mmmmm

The Secret
I've been using the secret a lot lately. I'm pretty much a secret-master. For example, I thought to myself, "Bibimbap would be really delicious for lunch today. THERE WILL BE BIBIMBAP FOR LUNCH TODAY!" And guess what... there was!!! I did it all by myself, with my mind.
Christmastime is just around the bend and I have a few gifts in mind for the one and only. It's just a matter of finding them. I think that's what this weekend will be devoted to.
Only 2 days left of school. I don't even know what I'll do with all my free time. Actually, I'll probably end up sleeping a lot, try to learn Korean, and find a new jobber. I wish someone would just say to me, "Hey you, my school is hiring and it's awesome. Come on over!" That would make my life so much easier.
I forgot my headphones today and since the computers don't have speakers I'm left with nothing but math problems. Why math problems you say? Well, because I'm trying not to be a lazy butt and study for the GRE. The most dreaded of standardized testing, at least that's how I feel right now. Although, in 8th grade we had to take one of those state tests and for some reason the teacher gave us all juice and pretzels and of course my graceful soul ended up spilling the juice all over the test and the teacher freaked out. I doubt they gave out juice after that. It's Wednesday and I'm pooped. But my hardest classes (a.k.a 6th grade) are all behind me so I can look forward to the beaming faces of 5th graders the rest of the week.

Win
My weird British friend that works in Korea has had several interesting posts on facebook. From what I can deduce, he gets slapped and pinched on the butt by the girls at his school and "triple teamed" by the boys. I have no idea what that means, but it sounds pervy. Apparently his school hasn't decided yet if they're re-newing his contract...sounds suspicious.
I am on the prowl for a new job. Hopefully I won't get one that sucks. I can't wait until Friday. My co-teacher said our school's camp was cancelled so I don't have to come in next week!

Good times
I had a crazy fever dream last night that I was back in the US for some reason, but only for the weekend. I went to Half Price Books and was lurking about the clearance dvds waiting for someone to recognize me. Mike finally saw me and told me to squat down and then pop up and scare Emily, which I did. The next thing I remember is being on some sort of trip with a bunch of people and one of the boys from my sixth grade class (who looks like he could be about 18) was there. He was wearing a lumberjack shirt and I was wearing nothing but a fur-lined coat. I felt really awkward around him because I was so scantily clad and yet strangely intrigued because he looked like a big Asian lumberjack. I could barely look at him in class today because it felt too weird.
Jake and I visited an orphanage this weekend. It was a strange experience, but overall alright. Most of the kids seemed too shy to play with us, so only a few boys made an appearance. They didn't seem to much care for the people who couldn't speak Korean, but there was one really young boy who was too cute for words.
