Dream Journal

I don't know if it was finding my long lost friend "Chatters" here or what, but I had one of my best sleeps last night.  I had a weird waking up dream though.  I've finally overcome my fear of drive-thru's so I flaunt my newfound pride by getting the occasional bean burrito or bowl of chili.  Anywho, in my dream I was at Burger King trying to order a blessed croissan'wich when, for some reason I drive forward before hearing the total.  I panicked and just plain drove off, cautiously as to avoid all the Japanese people milling about.  Still yearning for breakfast goods, I end up at a crowded McDonald's in my hometown.  That's the most likely place I'd see anyone I went to high school with (or WalMart) since I otherwise hide out at home and have no need for the bars.  I always have trouble deciding which line to stand in when they're all busy and ultimately always choose the slowest so there I stood.  Suddenly everyone dispersed to other lines and I noticed the cashier at my station had disappeared to help a coworker.  Reluctantly I meandered over, worrying about being late to work when she came back and I ran to be second in line.  Hooray me!  I took that moment to wake up and eat oatmeal.

Speaking of oatmeal, I gumptioned myself upstairs at the wee hours (10pm) to make the dough for my oatmeal raisin cookies and then I can bake them this evening when I get home from work.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy.  I did also have the delight of meeting the visitor who happened to be the dudemate's sister who was very chatty which I like since I tend to...not be.  She gave me some helpful encouragement about my ability to make the cookies which was unnecessary, but still welcome, and suggested I take out the raisins and add chocolate chips because she would pick out the raisins.  Quite an exciting turn from being previously situated in lump position on the couch.  I also figured out how, thanks to a helpful youtube tutorial by what I can only assume was a 12 year old boy, mirror my computer to my telly.  But dum-dum me only bought the vga cable and not the audio patch cable so I will be venturing out during my lunch to Best Buy and try to avoid the blueshirts.
